What are you most proud of at work?

What makes me the most proud is that, during my tenure at the UW, my team and I have been able to consistently increase both the reach and effectiveness of our programs. Creating and managing high-quality programs that live up to the UW name, and then making them available to as many people as possible is central to our mission at UW Continuum College. I’m proud to play my part in helping fulfill that mission.

What inspires you at work?

Without question, it’s the students. I manage a variety of certificates under the UW Professional & Continuing Education banner which, for the most part, fall into the business subject area. That means almost all of my students are coming back to school to expand their skill set and improve their professional lives. Helping someone enroll in one of my programs and, in a few short months, watching that same person successfully put those newly acquired skills to use in getting that promotion or finding that new job is what gets me out of the bed in the morning.
